Eleutherodactylus auriculatus (4D), E. varleyi (4E) and E. atkinsi (4G) are 3 of the 8 species of this genus we registered in Zapata. Our records of E. atkinsi were the first for the peninsula. Eleutherodactylus made up 57% of the frog species we found at Zapata (a typical dominance for the Caribbean).
